We’re all about people, because we’re all about Jesus – but you don’t have to be the same place we are in order to join in the fun and crazy things we do. We love to play. We love art and performance. Most of all we love helping others and giving God the glory. And we do know how to chill when the importance stuff requires it!

Defining Characteristics

We’re all about Jesus
We are followers of Jesus Christ. We talk about him. We sing his praises. We try to live the way he calls us to, because we’re thankful for his grace and his mercy.

We embrace the tough stuff
We acknowledge doubts, struggles, fear, and that this world and everyone in it is messed up. We prefer honesty over pretending everything’s perfect.

We’re having fun
Like Jack Frager said, “If I can’t dance, I don’t want to be part of your revolution.” We embrace the arts, technology, and hanging out. We enjoy laughing together, eating together, playing together, and serving others together! There’s a lot of fun in “together”!

We welcome almost everybody
If you’re abusive or intentionally trying to be disruptive, we’re not the place for you. But otherwise, jump on in!

We’re fighting for justice
Jesus said his kingdom was not of this world, so we’re not seeking political power. However, Jesus and much of the Bible talks about God’s concern for the poor, the abused, and the powerless – and we’re on board!

We’re seeking to be holy
The word “holy” gets a lot of bad press. We can hardly say it without thinking of the phrase “holier than thou”. At best we think it’s about people who retreat from the world and don’t enjoy themselves. But it really means to be dedicated to God and be useful!
